Preschool
If you are working, studying or looking for a job when moving to Finspång Municipality, your child is entitled to a preschool placement from the age of 1 to 5. Children who are 3 years old are entitled to public preschool. This is offered to all children from the autumn term of the year they turn 3.

Compulsory School and After-School Care
In Finspång Municipality, there are several municipal primary schools and one independent school. All primary schools also offer after-school care. Many of the schools are located in central Finspång, while others are in smaller communities in the countryside.

Special Needs School
Adapted education in Finspång Municipality includes schooling and support for children, young people, and adults with intellectual disabilities or acquired brain injuries. The municipality offers adapted compulsory school, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education, all tailored to meet the needs and abilities of each individual.

Swedish for Immigrants (SFI)
Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) is the first step in learning Swedish for those who have moved to Sweden. You will learn to speak, read and write in Swedish, and gain knowledge about Swedish society. After completing the course, you will receive a grade or a certificate showing the goals you have achieved.

Adult Education
At the Adult Education Centre (Vuxenutbildningen), anyone aged 20 or older can study. You can take SFI (Swedish for Immigrants), courses at the basic level, upper secondary school subjects, and vocational upper secondary education. University and college students also have the opportunity to take exams at the Learning Centre (Lärcentrum) in Finspång.
