Our libraries and opening hours
On this page you will find information about Finspång Municipality’s libraries and our opening hours. When the libraries are closed, you can return your books via the book drops located at the main library and in Rejmyre.
Opening hours for our libraries
The main library is our largest and is located in the town center at Bergslagstorget, next to the municipal building.
Opening hours for the Main Library in Finspång:
Monday: 10:00 - 17:00
Tuesday: 12:00 - 18:00
Wednesday: 10:00 - 17:00
Thursday: 12:00 - 18:00
Friday: 10:00 - 16:00
Saturday: 10:00 - 14:00
Rejmyre Library is located on Glasbruksvägen in the craft village and primarily serves those who live in the area or are visiting Rejmyre.
The library consists of two rooms. In the first room, you’ll find the information desk, self-service machine, and children’s section. The second room houses the adult section, with both fiction and non-fiction books.
Opening hours for Rejmyre Library:
Tuesday: 10:00 - 12:00
Thursday: 16:00 - 18:00
Hällestad Library reopened on 29 November and is now located in new premises at Hällestadgården.
Opening hours for Hällestad Library:
Monday: 15:00 - 18:00
Wednesday: 12:00 - 15:00

Book drop – when the library is closed
If you want to return your books, you can do so using the book drops available at the libraries in Finspång and Rejmyre. The book drop in Finspång is located by the administration square, outside the children’s section, a bit to the right of Kristallen’s upper entrance doors. In Rejmyre, the book drop is located at the library entrance.
The book drops are a convenient service for those who want to return books at any time of day. The books are collected in a return box, which is emptied during the library’s regular opening hours.
